Should you buy, rent elsewhere, or skip Apple Vision Pro at ₹3.5 lakhs? A practical take. RentSmart does not rent this device.

Catalogue note: RentSmart does not rent Apple Vision Pro. This article is a buy-vs-skip guide. For VR we rent PlayStation VR2 with a PS5.
Apple Vision Pro has a ₹3,49,900 price tag in India. RentSmart does not rent it. This is a buy-versus-skip note, not a catalogue listing. If you want to try VR, we rent PlayStation VR2 (you need a PS5, which we also rent).
The Good:
• Incredible display quality - truly feels like magic
• Seamless integration with Apple ecosystem
• Revolutionary spatial computing experience
• Eye and hand tracking works flawlessly
• Perfect for immersive movie watching
The Reality Check:
• Heavy device (600g) causes neck strain after 30 minutes
• Limited app ecosystem compared to iPhone/iPad
• Battery life of 2-3 hours is restrictive
• Social isolation factor
• Requires significant space for optimal use
If you still want to try spatial computing: look for a specialist VR rental, or start with PlayStation VR2 on a PS5, which is what we actually stock.
Verdict: At ₹3.5 lakhs, Vision Pro is a luxury few can justify purchasing. We are 2-3 generations away from mainstream adoption. Do not treat this page as a Vision Pro booking page.
