How RentSmart's PS5 Rental Actually Works: Delivery, Setup & Pricing Explained

A lot of people ask us the same question before booking: what actually happens between the moment I message RentSmart and the moment a PS5 shows up at my door? Here's the honest, practical breakdown.
Where the consoles come from:
Every PS5 in our fleet is sourced through authorized retail channels, not grey-market imports. Each unit goes through a condition check after every single rental — controller drift test, HDMI port check, disc drive test (for disc consoles), and a firmware update if needed — before it's cleared to go out again.
Sanitization between rentals:
Controllers and the console shell are wiped down with electronics-safe disinfectant after every return. We don't rent out a unit that hasn't been through this step, regardless of how quickly the next booking is scheduled.
The actual delivery window:
If you message us before 6 PM and you're within Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, or Ghaziabad, we can usually get a console to you the same evening. Outside that window or outside these areas, it becomes a next-day delivery — we'll always tell you upfront rather than promise something we can't deliver.
What's actually in the box:
• PS5 console (disc or digital, based on availability)
• 1 DualSense controller (extra controllers ₹299/day)
• HDMI cable rated for 4K/120Hz output
• Official power adapter
• A couple of pre-loaded games appropriate to what you tell us you want to play
Pricing, no games of hide-and-seek:
• 1 day: ₹999
• 3-day weekend: ₹2,199
• 7 days: ₹2,499
• 30 days: ₹5,249
There's no separate 'setup fee' or 'insurance fee' added at checkout — what we quote on WhatsApp is what you pay.
If something goes wrong mid-rental:
Hardware fails sometimes — it's electronics. If a console develops a fault that isn't due to misuse, we swap it same-day (Delhi NCR) at no extra charge. This is written into our verbal agreement with every customer at the time of booking, not something you have to fight for afterward.
